She will be able to assist you with your lifestyle and defecation techniques that can enable you to obtain a better empty your bowel contents and avoid spending excessive time sitting on the toilet. She will also often discuss topics with you such as appropriate fluid intake, diet, and make appropriate referral to specialists or other health professionals such as dieticians where required.
